For example, in gas burner applications, if the flame rodis compromised by a bad ground or aggressive ambience, which can isolate the rod andgenerate a burner failure, a flame detector can easily replace the flame rod. The flamedetector simulates an ionisation signal to the burner control. Adjustments at the flamedetector are not necessary, reducing potential for error.

KLC 10 UV Flame Detector

Is a Compact UV-flame detector for heating and single burner applications, suitable forgas-, oil- and combined fuel burners. The flame detector KLC 10 has been developedto meet the requirements of EN 298:2012 for burner management control units whichmake a ‘no-flame’ check after normal burner shut down when the flame amplifier ispermanently energised. This Flame detector must be disconnected for started up once each day.

Is a Compact UV flame detector for heating and single burner applications, suitable forgas-, oil- and combined fuel burners. After connecting to the power supply, internalincrease of the UV tube voltage directly guarantees the safety requirements of EN298:2012 by checking a break-through of the UV tube. Therefore an easy change fromionisation monitoring to the KLC 11 is possible also on burner controllers without UVinput.

KLC20 Wide Band Flame Detector

KLC 20 Wide Band Flame Detector

Wide band KLC 20 is a compact flame detector*, specially developed for blue burningfiring systems on residential fan burner applications. Flicker frequency of the detectedflame radiation is used for the patented evaluation. A microprocessor evaluates andconverts the flame signal to a digital signal that is compatible with most burner controlshaving external wire terminals. Field setting adjustment or commissioning areunnecessary. For gas applications, the implementation with disturbance frequency cutoff is to be used. Take a look to KLC COM software. Versions without disturbance cutoff should not be used in gas applications.

EX Housing KLC

KLC Series in EX Housing - Zone 1 Approved

An Ex-housing for Zone 1 is now available for the KLC devices.All KLC variants can be supplied as standard. The Ex versions are supplied with a 3m long connection cable. The ½ "connection flange provides a simple mounting andis identical to the flange of the IFx series. In addition, the connection flanges can beexchanged to a flange with purge air connector quickly. Accessories For The KLC Series

KLC Angled Adaptor 

With the optionally available corner adaptor the radial adjustment of the KLC 20 is carried out by means of an optimally formed reflecting surface to the flame axis.The corner adaptor replaces the connection flange.

RMF Relay

The relay module flame detector allows for  the switching output signal of KLC, IFC 10/11 efficient relay contacts. With it these flamedetectors can be used in PLC or as part of a control system. It indicates his working condition andthe status of the flame relay by means of LEDs on the front and secures the tensioncare of the flame detector electrically. Implementation with special functions can bealso provided here.

ADP Adaptor

The ADP adaptor enables KLC20's to be mounted with additional axial adjustment directly to afire space opening. A quartz glass serves as a pressurebarrier and prevents heating gases from thecombustion chamber causing damage.

KLC Angled Adaptor 

Allows connection and adjustment of the KLC flame detectors. Available in 7mm and 13mm.
