Fulton VSRT - Service Items and Spares
As an official Fulton Distributer we can supply all spare parts and service kits for Fulton VSRT Boilers. Fulton have put together a traffic light system for these boilers which we have followed below. This colour coding is designed to help you get an idea of the likeliness of the part needing replacement during the boilers lifetime.
Fulton Spare Parts Classification
These parts are classed as having a 'Low Risk' of requiring replacement as they contain fewer moving parts and are not on the pressure side of the system.
These parts will incur some wear over time so they are categorised as 'Medium Risk' and we recommend that these parts be kept on the shelf for systems in use 24/7.
These are the parts Fulton class as 'Recommended' spares. These are service type components, therefore it would be beneficial to keep a set of these parts in stock in your stores.
Vertical Spiral Rib Tubeless Steam Boiler
In 1949, Fulton pioneered the vertical tubeless design, which quickly became the industry standard for industrial steam boilers. Since that time, no one has been able to improve upon Fulton's original design.
Now, nearly 70 years on, Fulton is raising the bar with the VSRT (Vertical Spiral Rib Tubeless) boiler, the world’s first fully wetted, refractory-free vertical tubeless boiler and the new standard for industrial steam boiler design.
VSRT boilers are PURE Optimised and built to last as a reliable source of clean steam, providing cost savings and operator peace of mind for years to come.
Worlds First Spiral Rib Tubeless Boiler
Fulton’s patent pending spiral rib heat exchanger achieves industry-leading heat transfer rates. The unique spiral designprovides a long heat transfer path which is optimised toachieve maximum heat transfer in a compact space.
The multi-award-winning VSRT features a fully-water-backedpressure vessel wrapped with high-density insulation, resulting in minimal thermal losses and low jacket temperatures.
Fulton's VSRT Technology means there are lower stresses on the pressure vessel, this means the pressure vessel will last longer
Each Burner is matched precisely to its boiler allowing for optimal turn down and efficiency
The clever construction methods mean the outer temperature remains low
Incredibly compact design means the footprint is minimal and weight is dramatically less than standard boilers
What does the VSRT offer?
160-4000 kg/h F & A 100 °C
Ultra-low NOxgas burner
Constructed to BS EN 12953
CE Marked to PED
10 Year Pressure Vessel Guarantee
What is PURE Technology?
PURE Technology is the culmination ofFulton’s clean-slate design approach. Based on comprehensive system optimisation, PURE Technology radically challenges the industry status quo and empowers our engineers to create the best boiler solutions possible, unhindered by previous design roadblocks or trade-offs.
Media Free Cyclone Air Filter
Designed to support lower than industry-standardnoise levels, Fulton’s patent-pending cyclonic air filtereffectively clears the combustion air of damagingparticles. Our cyclonic filter won’t clog over time and eliminates the need for replacement filters.
Lint, Dirt and other airborne debris are drawn into the cyclone with incoming air, these are then separated in the cyclone and deposited in the canister for easy disposal.
How does the VSRT Work?
1. Air Fuel Mixture Enters the combustion chamber
2. PURE optimised burners feature up to 10:1 turndown with very low emissions
3. Combustion Gases transition downwards from the combustion chamber into the heat exchanger
4. Flue gases spiral upwards through the patent pending heat exchanger
5. Flue gases exit the boiler
Designed with safe operation and maintenance in mind
