Danfoss recommend that you change the nozzle on your burner once a year. Doing so helps keep your burner running at maximum efficiency, reducing soot and keeping oil consumption to a minimum, two factors that contribute towards helping the environment.

How Do I know Which Danfoss Nozzle I need?
All of the Danfoss range will have a part number assigned to them, this will usually be 3 digits, a letter and then 4 more digits. e.g. 030F8308 this will tell us exactly which nozzle you require. If you do not have these details to hand, then use the images below to assist.
Flow or Throughput
We will require the flow rate of the nozzle. This is engraved on the hex of the nozzle and will either be in KG/hr or in US Gal/hr.
Which Spray Pattern?
The nozzles will have a spray pattern, this can sometimes be found engraved on the hex part of the nozzle. It may not be exactly as written below as some specialist nozzles will be a combination or may have another letter such as an ES patten.
Danfoss Nozzle Spray Angle
The nozzle will also have a spray angle, this helps the atomisation as it optimises the mixture of oil and air, this must be correct for your specific burner. Again it can usually be found engraved on the hex part of your existing nozzle similar to the flow rate number.
